These studies are intended both for young and experienced musicians. The needs of beginning musicians are taken into account by a suitable selection of ranges and keys, and easy rhythmic playability.

Experienced players will appreciate the great musicality, the lyrical compositions, and the possibility to improvise over the accompaniments.

• On the CD, each study is demonstrated by Wege Wüthrich either on the Eb Alto Saxophone, the Bb Tenor Saxophone or on the clarinet, according to the edition, together with a fine rhythm section.
• Each demonstration track is followed by a recording of the accompaniment only (Play-Along) without the melody instrument.
• The studies should first be practiced slowly. When the required tempo is attained, they can be played with the accompaniment.
• For improvising, the studies are provided with chord symbols.
